Why I Love Christmas |
| Almost everyone says Christmas is their favorite time of the year. Why is that? People seem to be more loving and caring. Even with the hustle and bustle of the season, it still seems to be a special time for everyone no matter what religion you are. I offer a few of my past Christmas recordings as a present to you. One of the best feelings is to offer a gift to someone during the holidays with no expectations of receiving a gift in return. My father (who died when I was five) was always funny on Christmas morning and even though we didn't have much under the tree, he always made it fun and special. I never felt the need for anything more. It is that love that makes the times together worthwhile. Not the amount of gifts you can buy or who gets what. It is just the bonding you feel with your own family, children, and friends. So in these hard economic times, let us remember that every day can feel like Christmas if we stop putting so much value on material things and live happily with what we have. |
