From belting
out Broadway tunes to singing soft romantic ballads,
female vocalist, Laura St. John can do it all. Singing
since childhood, this girl singer has performed
on cruise ships, with a 9-piece show band, and
small duos. Her work also includes commercials,
singing telegrams and jingles. She can rock out
with the band or sing sultry love ballads with
the piano. Her vocal range and training allows
her to adapt to all musical styles.

A Cocoa Beach
High School graduate, Laura St. John began singing,
acting and dancing over 25 years ago. She has performed
in ensembles, choral groups and dance groups in
the United States and abroad. She performed with
Normand LeChance and Gene Chandler Productions
with Musical, Inc., based in South Florida, and
also with Neptune Productions, on luxury cruise
ships out of Miami.
During her college years she entertained on the New
Spirit Cruise Line, sang with a jazz band, and covered
some of her school costs by doing singing telegrams.
She has delighted her fans with the National Anthem
at Manatees games and several special events at military
bases throughout the country. She has sung commercial
jingles for radio as well.
When
she returned to Brevard County, Florida in 1995,
she joined the 9-piece show band, Topaz. During her
3 years performing with the band, she had the opportunity
to play many large concerts and events, including
opening for the Commodores and other big acts. Laura
filled in for vocals in several other groups before
forming the duo, Dave & Laura.
She is currently the vocalist for the Contemporary
Christian band, “Crosswood”, the “Laura
St. John Duo”, the “Laura St. John Trio”,
and her “Laura St. John 4-piece
Funk Band” which consists
of other talented local musicians. In her spare time,
she sings in her church choir, does weddings and
studio work.
Laura has
a wide range which allows her to sing a variety of musical styles.
She continues vocal coaching and her professional experience
and years in radio and advertising gives her a well-rounded perspective
for her music and her clients.
